Where can I get a FREE H264 Video Converter?

I need one that is simple & easy to use, can work in high definition and does not need to be on-line (the computer that I use for my video work does NOT have an Internet connection). eRight soft Super is Ok, but not great, Avanti Just *****. My Linux computer has internet access, i did try running Prisim Video Conveter on wine (wine runs most Windows programs on Linux) and I managed to convert some files with it, but it doesn’t do H264, MOVAVI video converter also needs to be on-line, but wine can’t run it.. Any suggestions on what I should get?
