Hey there doesn anyone know a good video file converter/splitter?? I need one that can split MPEG/AVI/DIVx etc and also can convert them into any other video file.
I am currently using Movavi at the moment but it is quite slow when trying to manually split the file. It keeps freezing when I try and drag the slider at at the bottom to pinpoint the starting/ending markers for the split.

splitting an xvid or divx can cause problems in my experience but virtualdub can do it .. its better to just encode the whole file .. really the best way to split if ur converting to dvd is to set the endpoints of ur author when ur converting it .. and it depends on what ur going to convert them to on the best application to use to convert … convertxtodvd is good ..
